More than 60 years ago, ing. Aldo Tognana, already the 4th generation of a family that, since 1775, transforms the clay and ton for the production of bricks and rooftiles, established, always in Treviso and next to the brick factory, the first ceramic plant for the production of dinnerware , initially in earthenware and subsequently in fine porcelain, factory that became over the years the most important and largest Italian manufactory.
The children Antonio and Alessandra, who have later managed the Company Tognana Porcellane over the years , together with a valid management team, have passed this long tradition, know how, taste, creativity and elegance on to Symbol srl, today a reference Company for the hotel & restaurant dinnerware addressed to professionals.

In producing and decorating porcelains, the company guarantees that every article respects current European standards and the more restrictive ones of the Usa “Us Proposition 65”, in terms of lead and cadmium contents in products that come in contact with food.
Resistence of the edge (no chip), resistance to the thermal shocks, to the abrasion or scratches, resistance to the chemical attacks: these are the requirements that our dinnerware must have.
